How to import photos

Photos can be imported from the following sources:

To upload photos into a section, click on the button to enter the Images area.

To import photos into a specific section, select it from the left sidebar and click on Add Photos.

Next, select your desired source (My Computer, Facebook, Google Drive, Google Photos, or Dropbox).

My Computer

To import photos from your computer’s hard drive, click on the My Computer icon. From here, you can watch a video tutorial illustrating the photo selection process. Click the Find Photos Now button to begin the photo selection process.

Once you are finished selecting your photos, click the Add to Yearbook button found in the bottom right corner.

Facebook

To import photos from Facebook, click on the Facebook icon. You should see a dialog box asking you to sign into your Facebook account. Enter your Facebook email and password and then click Log In.

When you log in successfully, you will see a folder for Timeline Photos and a folder for each Album in your Facebook account. Select a folder and you will see all the images for that folder. Next, click the images you wish to import then click the Add button. To finalize your selections, click the blue Add to Yearbook.

Google Drive

To import photos from Google Drive, click on the Google Drive icon. You will be prompted to sign into your Google account.

You must give permission for Picaboo Yearbooks to access your Google Drive photos. Click the Allow button when you see this dialog box.

Once you log in successfully, you should see a main folder (and possibly several sub-folders). Select the folder that contains the images you wish to upload. Next, click the images you wish to import then click the Add button. To finalize your selections, click the blue Add to Yearbook.

 

Google Photos (Formerly Picasa)

To import photos from Google Photos, click on the Google Photos icon. You should see a dialog box asking you to sign into your Google account. You will be prompted to enter your Google sign-in information.

When you log in successfully, you should be able to see an Auto Backup folder, a Profile Photos folder, and any other folders that have been created. Select the folder that contains the desired images. Next, click the images you wish to import then click the Add button. To finalize your selections, click the blue Add to Yearbook.

 

Dropbox

To import photos from Dropbox, click on the Dropbox icon. You will be prompted to log into your Dropbox account.

Next, you should be able to search for your images in Recent files, Files, or Photos. Once you locate the images you wish to import, you can start selecting images. When you are finished, click the Choose button.

Finalize your selections by clicking the Add to Yearbook button found in the bottom right corner.
